What actually polishes out

Nearly every mark that upsets an owner lives in the clear coat: the circular swirls a brush wash leaves on dark paint, the fine lines from a dusty cover dragged off a weekend car, the dull rings where last summer's sap sat too long. Machine polishing removes a measured whisper of clear coat until those defects are gone and the surface reads like glass again. What it cannot do is refill paint that is missing: a gouge that catches your fingernail, a kerbed arch scraped to primer, paint transfer from a gatepost with opinions. Those need a body shop, and we will tell you so straight away rather than polish hopefully at them.

How we deliver it, and why it comes sealed

Yikes does not sell a bare polish, on purpose. Freshly corrected paint is clean, slick and completely unprotected, which around here means the avenue's trees start undoing the work the same week. So correction is built into our 2 year Ceramic Coating: the machine work removes the defects, then the coating locks the corrected finish away from sap, bird mess and winter grime. One visit at your home, and the paint is both fixed and defended.
