Mobile car valeting across West London and Heathrow

West London is the side of the city with the airport, the M4, the M25 and the A40 in it, and its cars wear all four. Add the Victorian terraces of Southall and Ealing, the semis of Harrow and Greenford and the new towers of Hounslow and Slough, and the same valet has to work on a drive, in a permit bay and in an undercroft in the same afternoon. It does. Yikes brings the valet, outside and inside in one visit, through vetted local washers from the Yikes Network who carry their own water and power. Hillingdon has its own page; this one is the rest of the west, from Ealing to Staines and Harrow to Slough.

Town by town

What the valet takes off in each part of the west

Southall and Hanwell

Southall sits between the Grand Union Canal and the M4, with the airport's approach overhead and the Broadway's traffic at the door, and its terraces park at the kerb in the street they live on. The valet happens in your own space: the canal's damp and the motorway's film outside, the Broadway's sweet shop evidence inside. Hanwell, across the Brent, is the same terraces with more trees and more sap.

Ealing, Greenford and Northolt

The Queen of the Suburbs, as Ealing called itself by 1902, still parks under its trees, and a Pitshanger or Ealing Common car carries a summer of lime sap by September. Greenford and Northolt are A40 country, semis with drives either side of the Western Avenue, and the dirt is brake dust and the Horsenden Hill dog walk. Two cars on one drive go on one booking.

Hounslow, Feltham and the Bath Road

The TW3 to TW6 post town includes the airport itself. Hounslow's new towers park in undercrofts, Feltham's semis park on drives, and both live under the approach, where the oily film lands weekly. Hounslow Highways grits Bath Road and Staines Road first when ice is forecast, so from November the salt joins the soot. The Deluxe every four weeks here, not six.

Staines and the Thames villages

Staines sits where the Colne meets the Thames, with the M25 and the M3 at the edge of town, and its cars carry river damp in winter and motorway film all year. The inside half of the valet earns its keep here: the damp lifted from the carpets, the inside glass done for misty mornings by the river.

Slough and the Trading Estate

Slough has more global headquarters than anywhere in Britain outside London and the largest trading estate in single ownership in Europe, with 17,000 jobs in 400 businesses, which means a lot of company cars on drives in Cippenham, Langley and Burnham. The valet keeps a lease car honest; the dated photographs keep the record.

Harrow and the Hill

Metroland's capital parks on drives that curve away from the Metropolitan line, under avenues planted a century ago, and the Hill itself, 408 feet of it, adds a school term of traffic. Sap on the roof, a commuter's week inside: the Deluxe monthly as a habit, the Deluxe Exterior between.

Across the west

The ULEZ, the salt and the clocks

The ULEZ has covered every one of these boroughs since August 2023, at £12.50 a day for a non compliant car, and a car that is parked and valeted at home pays nothing that day, which is a quiet argument for a wash that comes to the drive rather than one you drive to. Hounslow's six gritters and 1,200 tonnes of salt go out on the main roads from mid November, Ealing's and Harrow's on theirs, and the salt sits on paint and walks into carpets until March; a valet every four to six weeks through the winter is the habit that keeps a car looking new. The clocks went back on 25 October, so a window that starts by 2pm finishes in the light.

Booking is the same in every town. Postcode in, the page confirms a Network washer covers it, pick the Deluxe Inside & Out or the Essential and a two hour window, pay, and unlock the car when the washer arrives. Twice a year, after the salt and after the summer, the Super Valet with its wax and interior restoration is the upgrade; for a car that has gone a year without care, the Deep Clean comes first.

Updated 25 October 2026

  • The clocks went back on Sunday 25 October. A Deluxe valet takes about an hour; a window starting by 2pm finishes in daylight. (GOV.UK: when the clocks change)
  • Hounslow Highways runs six gritters with 1,200 tonnes of salt from mid November, Bath Road and Staines Road first. A valet every four to six weeks keeps the salt off the paint. (Hounslow Council: gritting roads during cold weather)
  • Slough's Queensmere centre closed on 17 January 2026 for demolition by the end of the year, with 1,600 homes to follow. Town centre parking is in flux; the drive is simpler. (Wikipedia: Slough)

West London and Heathrow questions

Good to know

Which West London towns do you valet in?
Southall, Ealing, Hanwell, Greenford, Northolt, Hounslow, Feltham, Staines, Slough, Harrow and Twickenham, wherever a Network washer covers the postcode; the booking page checks when you type it. Hillingdon has its own page.
What does a valet include that a wash does not?
The inside: vacuum, plastics, inside glass, sills and door shuts, in the same visit as the outside wash.
Can it be done in a permit bay in Ealing or Southall?
Yes, in your own bay. The washer parks their van legally nearby and carries the kit over; your permit is untouched.
Does the washer need my tap?
No. Water and power come in the van, which is why an undercroft or a kerb space is no harder than a drive.
Do I need to be in?
To unlock the car at the start of the window, yes. For an outside only Deluxe Exterior, no.
Is Staines or Slough priced the same as London?
Yes. One booking page, one price list across the region, and Members Club takes 20 percent off.
Do you need my water or electricity?
No. Your washer brings water, power and all the kit, so there is nothing to connect or set up. A flat, a terrace, a drive or a village street all work.
Do I need to be in?
Not for an outside only wash, as long as the car is where you said it would be and the washer can reach it. For anything that includes the inside, someone needs to unlock the car.
Who will wash my car?
In West London and Heathrow your wash is done by a vetted local washer from the Yikes Network. You book and pay through Yikes at the usual prices, the washer checks in at the car and takes before and after photos, and your receipt and wash report come from Yikes.
Do you wash vans and larger vehicles?
Yes. Vans and larger vehicles cost a little more because they take longer, and the booking page prices it for you. For several vehicles at once, see our fleet page.
