Between the canal at Little Venice and the planes along the Hyde Park side, W2 cars collect more than their share of bird mess and sticky sap. The mews cars fare little better: dust settles fast in those quiet corners, and there is nowhere sensible nearby to queue for a wash.
A cargo e-bike matters here more than anywhere: it tucks into a mews where a van cannot, blocks nothing, and arrives with zero emissions. The wash is low-water, about a quarter of a typical mobile wash, so cobbles and kerbs stay dry, and the price you see at booking is the final price.
The canal keeps waterfowl and gulls in residence, and their mess etches paint fast in summer. Hyde Park's plane trees shade Bayswater Road bays and drip sap onto everything beneath. Even sheltered mews cars grey over as brake-and-brick dust settles. All of it lifts easily with a regular gentle hand wash.
