What gets in

The Lido, the Woods, the airport and the A40

Ruislip Lido has a sandy beach on a 60 acre lake, and every family car in the north of the borough carries that beach home in June and is still finding it in the seat runners in November. Ruislip Woods is a National Nature Reserve on the doorstep, with the mud and the dog to match. The Colne Valley Regional Park covers a sixth of the borough.
