Camden Town on a weekend is one of the most visited places in London, which is wonderful for the market and terrible for anyone trying to move a car. Kentish Town and Primrose Hill are calmer but just as tightly parked, with CPZ hours that punish optimism.
A Yikes cargo e-bike does not care about any of that. It reaches a bay off Camden Square or a street below the Hill without joining the traffic, washes the car with about a quarter of the water of a typical mobile wash, and leaves with zero emissions for the whole visit.
Cars near the canal and the market pick up an urban cocktail: gull and pigeon mess, dust from the crowds, and brake-dust film from the Camden Road queues. Up by Primrose Hill the trees take over, coating windscreens in sap through the warm months. A regular gentle hand wash clears all of it before it can etch.
